Fair for guests and businesses

How we order listings

Every hotel, venue and tour on Cybo One is placed by the same rules. Here they are, in the order we apply them.

  1. 1

    Near the guest first

Guests first see places in their own country, and in their own town when we know it. We work this out from the country their internet connection comes from, and we store nothing about it.

  2. 2

Featured listings are labelled and limited

A business can be Featured. Featured listings always carry a "Featured" label, and no more than 2 of them go ahead of the others in a section. When there are more, they take turns.

  3. 3

Complete profiles come before incomplete ones

A listing with a photo, a price and a description helps guests decide, so it is shown before a listing that is missing them. Every business can complete its profile at any time.

  4. 4

    Equal listings take turns

Listings that are equally complete share the top places: their order changes every hour, so each one is shown first as often as the others.

  5. 5

    One listing per business first

A business with many rooms or spaces cannot fill a whole row. Each business shows its first listing before any business shows a second.

What we never do

  • Hide a business because it does not pay.
  • Sell more than the labelled Featured places, or let a payment change the order in any other way.
  • Use a guest's name, account, bookings or searches to order listings.

How a business moves up

  • Add clear photos of every room, space or tour.
  • Show a price, so guests know what to expect.
  • Write a description of at least a few sentences: what is included, who it suits, what is nearby.
  • Keep your address complete (area, town and country), so nearby guests find you.
